BLDG5200 Digital Site

Taking a case study approach, this unit focuses on simulations of a project’s spatial requirements and construction sequence on site. It investigates tools for manipulating building components to account for the construction process given site limitations and opportunities and generating transparent data for various stakeholders in shared parameters to enhance management and expedite workflows. Students acquire knowledge of visualisation and verification techniques to support coordination of contractual relations and methods of converting data-based information to prepare BIM model information for facilities management.
